Continuing our series on excellence in sustainability, NEST is thrilled to have Cara Pratt, Chief Sustainability & Resilience Officer for the City of Evanston speak at our October community meeting.
Cara will share her experiences with Evanston’s approval and adoption of the Illinois Stretch Energy Code. Specifically, she’ll share insights into the adoption process, challenges encountered, and the advantages of the stretch code for their community. Cara will also touch on the development and implementation of Evanston’s Climate Action and Resilience Plan.
Cara has a B.A Environmental Policy and International Relations degree from Drake University as well as a Masters of Public Administration from Cornell University.
